The four generation photo: Gramma Lyd, Mom, Me, and Baby lauren
The avid bookworm at Nana Barbie's and Papa Jose's house
Happy 34th Birthday Auntie Mimi...Lauren was jittery (hence the blur) from the sugar intake!
And yes, they do look like they could be mother/daughter--but she's mine!!!
Reference dad's/Nate's stats if you need reassurance :)
Right before bedtime with Tyler and Chubby--oh how sweet those boys are to her...
This would be Lauren's "jacked up" ring finger on her right hand. Notice it's almost the size of my thumb in the photo. This was a bi-product of following her cousin Hadley too closely around Nana's house...Hadley wasn't use to younger kids and Baby Lauren just couldn't be close enough to Hadley; hence the slammed hand in the bathroom door while Hadley was trying to ride herself of the pest.
This would be Lauren shouting at Uncle Joe in front of Nana's house. Apparently he wasn't either giving her enough attention or doing what she wanted???
But she sure cozied up to him a few minutes later...
Lauren couldn't get enough of the outdoors while we were in AZ-the weather was perfect. So no matter the time of day, or what she was wearing, she would con one of use (usually one of her Papas) into taking her outside...Yes that is an adorable white dress covered in dirt...
Gotta pick your battles right?!
Lauren loved this chair at Auntie Lizi's house...couldn't get enough of it, as you'll see...
Here's Lauren with some of the most attentive babysitters she's ever had--no kidding!
Cousins Amelia, Julia, and Ella Sprotte (respectively)
Baby Lauren on her first fishing expedition in the White Mountains.
Here she is with Papa Bill at Reservation Lake...
right after she forced Papa to run into the lake after her!
Looks like he's hunched over taking a breather after the action--and he is! :0)
Lauren's in a rope swing put up by Great Uncle Larry-and she loved it! Well that and Great Auntie Kay's cookies! We went and visited them at their cabin up in Greer, AZ. Lucky for them, their cabin was spared during the huge Wallow Fire this past summer...
Lauren with a huge alligator tear on her cheek, while grasping this beautiful flower...
it would never know what hit it after Lauren got done flinging it around!
The devastated landscape in Greer from the Wallow Fire, as seen from the Louck's cabin.
As I said, they were the lucky ones in Greer...the opposing mountain homes were taken...
it'll take centuries for this landscape to ever look as lush as it did before.
